Creating an Uplifting Environment

We take a compassionate approach when tending to your oral health. Our caring chair side manner helps diminish any fears you may have about your appointment, and our sedation dentist answers any questions you may have. We discuss the benefits of each of the recommended dental procedures, so you have complete control over your treatment path.

It’s our mission to treat each patient with dignity and respect.  If your anxiousness remains after getting to know our dentist and team, we have sedation options to put you at ease during any of our treatments.

Sedation Dentistry Options

As our practice regularly performs dental implant procedures in St. Louis, we are experienced in safely administering a variety of sedatives and anesthesia. When you are hesitant about complicated treatment, we offer oral conscious sedation as a way to calm any nerves prior to arriving at the office and as you are seated in the dental chair. Patients can take a dose of prescribed medication at home and have a companion bring them to our office. This sedative works effectively throughout your procedure, and  the effects of the medication diminish a few hours after your visit.

For patients scheduled to receive complex procedures, such as oral surgery,  we provide in-office IV sedation.  Our dental professionals may also choose this option when they want more control over the level of sedation patients’ experience. IV sedation provides a deep sense of relaxation and helps you tune out the details of your procedure; you may even feel as if you have fallen asleep.

In instances of short appointments or mild dental anxiety, nitrous oxide is provided. This inhaled sedative, also known as laughing gas, is an efficient way to help you relax in the dental chair. Nitrous oxide is easily reversed after completing treatment, allowing you to return to daily activities.
