Implants Replacing All Teeth

WHEN MISSING ALL YOUR TEETH AND NOT BEING ABLE TO WEAR A DENTURE

If you’re tired of your current dentures moving around in your mouth, and think denture adhesive is bothersome, our denture replacement solution may be right for you.

A fixed replacement solution consists of a dental implant bridge (sometimes called a hybrid bridge)  that is supported by four or more dental implants. By using dental implants to secure the teeth, the need for denture adhesive is a thing of the past. Because the dental implants function like the natural roots, the teeth will feel very much like your natural teeth did.

COURSE OF TREATMENT

INSTALLING THE FIXED BRIDGE– STEP-BY-STEP

The course of treatment described here is one of several options available. Consult your dentist to find out what the best solution is for you, given your specific condition.

1: Before the procedure

The dentist determines what needs to be done and prepares both himself and the patient for the coming treatment procedure. Detailed exams, photos, molds, I-Cat 3D scans, and specialized software can help determine the best solution for you.
2: Installing the implants

The first step is placing the implants to replace the lost tooth roots. The number of implants is based on your individual treatment plan.  Temporary teeth can be attached that enable you to eat and function like normal while waiting for the permanent bridge to be installed.  At no point during the treatment will you be without teeth.
3: Attaching the bridge

The final bridge is securely installed on top of the implants. Once in place you can eat with confidence and smile with your individualized teeth.  We will teach you how to take care of them at home and you will see us periodically to ensure your implants stay healthy.

4: End result

Your new teeth should be hard to tell from natural – both for you and others. People who have had traditional dentures before getting a fixed bridge often describe this as an overwhelming and very positive experience.
