Teeth-in-an-Hour™ is a core concept of Beautiful Teeth Now™. Historically, implants have been associated with a time consuming surgical procedure. Our solutions have revolutionized this, by allowing you to provide beautiful, natural looking teeth, from the very moment they are placed.
We have made implant treatment easy, enabling shorter treatment time, greater patient comfort and no healing time required prior to functioning.
Immediate satisfaction
The benefits of Teeth-in-an-Hour™ are shortened treatment time, better clinical efficiency and less trauma to the patient – it is now possible to go from suffering from tooth loss to having functional and esthetic teeth in one treatment session.
Teeth in an Hour - Not Months
Teeth-in-an-Hour™ is a new dental implant surgery system that streamlines the treatment process and provides the patient with permanent teeth in record time. The system incorporates the magic of CT Scans and 3-D imaging software to accurately assess bone structure, map out the areas of best integrity, and create a permanent prosthesis prior to surgery. This revolutionary system offers a more accurate and safer positioning of dental implants and provides the patient with permanent teeth in about an hour.
Traditionally, dental implants have been associated with long periods of healing, high costs and patient discomfort. Teeth-in-an-Hour allows our Doctors to provide their patients with fixed, well-functioning and attractive teeth on implants in a single one-hour procedure. By using a custom template created from the primary CT Scan, the permanent teeth can be made before the implant surgery. The final teeth are inserted at the same time the implants are placed.
Teeth in an Hour™ allows the possibility to provide patients fixed, well-functioning, and esthetic prostheses on implants in less than an hour. Thanks to the flapless technique, this treatment allows for a great experience for the patient with greatly reduced healing time, no temporaries and no significant pain or swelling.
Computerized technology
The rapid development of computerized tomography (CT) scan techniques with decreased radiation and 3D computerized imaging technology has made it possible to fully visualize the placement of implants in a real 3D environment.
High precision
The use of surgical templates to place implants has been shown to provide added value and surgical templates with high precision sleeves have optimized prosthetic rehabilitation since planning is both anatomically and prosthetically driven.
The result
Teeth in an Hour™ allows the possibility to provide patients fixed, well-functioning, and esthetic prostheses on implants in less than an hour. Thanks to the flapless technique, this treatment will be a totally fantastic experience for your patients with greatly reduced healing time, no temporaries and no significant pain or swelling.
Schedule of Treatment
- The initial clinical evaluation -- Understanding the problem, making the diagnosis based on clinical exam and x-rays and discussion of treatment options, including Teeth In An Hour™
- Treatment plan -- A formal printed plan is reviewed in conjunction with standardized consent forms.
- Prototype teeth -- The patient's dentures are evaluated. New dentures may be required to determine the degree of facial support and establish an esthetic smile.
- Scanning denture -- A duplicate scanning denture is constructed. This device mimics the prototype denture.
- CT scan - A CT scan of the patient's jaw wearing the scanning denture is completed using our low-radiation iCat machine. Following the patient scan, a second scan is performed on the denture alone.
- Data conversion -- Digital files from the iCat scans are reformatted using the Nobel Biocare Procera System software. The software converts the CT data into a three-dimensional image of the jaw and denture.
- Virtual surgery --The surgeon/prosthodontist performs virtual surgery on the 3D image. The file from this virtual surgery is then transmitted through the internet for fabrication of the surgical guide.
- Robotics -- At a robotics facility, the data files containing the surgical plan are used to three-dimensionally reconstruct the patient's jaws. A special surgical guide is then constructed to assist the surgeon with implant installation.
- Fabrication of teeth -- Using the surgical guide and the models of the jaws, the final set of teeth are fabricated in the laboratory.
- Final inspection -- Upon completion of the laboratory work, the surgeon/prosthodontist examines the shape and size of the teeth and checks the components for accuracy before scheduling the patient for actual surgery.
- The one surgical visit -- The implants and teeth are surgically installed with the aid of the computer generated materials, usually with only local anesthesia. The surgical procedure requires no incision, no sutures and little post-operative swelling or discomfort. The Teeth In An Hour surgery and your new esthetically pleasing smile usually takes less than sixty minutes to complete.
